1. Where can I buy Exceledge products?
   Exceledge lawn and landscape edging products are available from stock, direct from Kinley Systems, or through one of our selected distributors or merchants. All the main builders merchants have credit accounts with us. We have European distribution centres in France, Germany, Spain, and Scandinavia. European buyers should contact us to obtain details of our nearest European distributor.

4. Are Exceledge products flexible?
   Yes, most of our lawn and landscape edging products can be formed to create curves. For special shapes or complex designs, we recommend using our pre-forming service that is available on some of our aluminium and steel edging products. Some of the very heavy-duty edging may also need some additional equipment.

6. In your Borderline steel edging range, you have a finish called Tora® weathering steel. What is that?
   Tora® weathering steel is a natural finish steel that is designed to rust, giving a warm natural finish to the edging. Tora® is very hard wearing steel as the outer rust coating protects the inner core of the steel for decades. In this way, it is similar to CorTen® steel but offers a significant price advantage.
7. What is CorTen® steel?
   CorTen® is a steel finish that we offer in our HiGrade steel edging. It is a special type of steel that is designed to produce a natural hard-wearing rust ‘patina’, like our Tora® weathering steel. You can download our CorTen® info sheet here.
8. I don’t know which type of metal edging to choose, aluminium or steel. Could you please advise me?
   Aluminium edging is a relative newcomer to the landscape edging market whilst steel edging has been used for many years. Aluminium offers many benefits that are causing more and more people to select it, such as its inherent resistance to corrosion, its excellent strength to weight ratio and the unique AluExcel design that makes installation so simple. Steel is still popular – in particular the CorTen® finish. Steel is a much harder metal than aluminium, sometimes making it a preferred choice where it is raised out of the ground and where is will be exposed to high levels of pedestrian or vehicle traffic. In many cases it does come down to the finish that is required. Aluminium finish is silver but this will soften to a subtle grey over time.
9. Does aluminium rust?
   No. Aluminium forms its own oxidization layer over time that will cause it to slightly dull in colour to a subtle grey.
10. Can I cut your edging products and how?
    All our lawn and landscape edgings can be cut using either an angle grinder with a suitable cutting disc or by using a hacksaw.
11. What is the minimum advisable radius for curving your edging to?

12. What is "Mill finish” in aluminium?
    Mill finish is the term given to the straightforward finish of the aluminium extrusion as it comes from the factory. It has no other surface treatments such as anodizing or powder coating. Aluminium’s natural finish is long lasting and will not rust, corrode or decay. It is resistant to all atmospheric weather conditions including salt.
